Miss Hetherington appointed as Headteacher - February 2026

I am absolutely delighted to be writing this as the Headteacher of this wonderful school.

Having spent many happy years here as Deputy Headteacher, and more recently serving as your Interim Headteacher, this school is far more than just my workplace — it is a community I feel incredibly proud to belong to. I know our children, our families and our staff well, and I care deeply about the continued success and happiness of every member of our school family.

Over the years, I have seen first-hand the warmth, resilience and potential that make our school so special. It has been a privilege to help lead the school through different chapters, and I am truly honoured to continue that journey with you in this role.

I remain fully committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and inspired each day they walk through our doors. Strong relationships between home and school are at the heart of this, and I am so grateful for your ongoing support, encouragement and trust.

I am excited about the future of our school and the opportunities ahead.
