We warmly welcome you to our Early Years Foundation Stage at St Philip's CE Primary School. Our setting is made up of a Pre-School and Reception Class. In April 2021, we opened our Pre-School welcoming children all day starting from the age of 3.
At St Philip's our aim is to provide a progressive curriculum that runs through from Pre-School to the end of Reception. We nurture a holistic approach that fosters curiosity and allows each child to be inquisitive and resourceful. We strive for our children to be strong, independent and resilient learners. We offer a varied and inclusive curriculum with the child at the heart that is delivered in a safe and stimulating environment. Our children leave the EYFS as well rounded, enthusiastic, and passionate learners with a thirst for knowledge.
We are passionate when it comes to teaching children to stretch themselves and to persevere when presented with an obstacle. We want children to thrive and be motivated to become lifelong learners. We look forward to working together with you to provide a successful beginning to your child’s learning journey. |
